About Mel Newton
Mel quickly developed a strong foundation in canine behaviour and obedience. In 2022, Mel took the leap to become self-employed, further developing her skills and expertise in training dogs of all breeds and backgrounds.
Mel's love for dogs extends beyond training.She also works her own gundogs on local shoots, showcasing her commitment to the sport and dedication to her canine companions.
Mel is qualified with the Canine Institute of Dog Training and Behavior (CIDBT) as a professional dog training instructor and achieved a Distinction in the Level 4 advanced canine behaviour diploma with the British College of Canine Studies (BCCS). Mel also holds Grade 2 Honours Pass with the British Institute of Professional Dog Trainers (BIPDT).
Mel continues to expand her knowledge and stay up-to-date on the latest training techniques and methodologies.
